  • Calendar & Deadline Data: School calendars, milestone dates, reminder preferences
  • Portfolio Items: Academic documents, transcripts, essays, recommendation letters (files you upload)
  • Payment Information: Processed securely via Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent
  • Cookies & Tracking: Session cookies, analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
  • Google Calendar Integration: When authorized, we access your Google Calendar events to display alongside your deadlines

2.3 Third-Party Data

  • AI College Research: We use third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to auto-fill college data and search school calendars
  • Google Calendar: Calendar event data via authorized OAuth connection

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Display personalized student profiles and college readiness scores
  • Send deadline reminders and alerts
  • Sync college deadlines and school calendars
  • Calculate readiness profiles based on activities
  • Provide AI-powered college research and recommendations
  • Process subscription payments

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

4.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

  • Deleted Content: Permanently deleted within 30 days of request
  • Backup Copies: May persist for up to 90 days

8. Children's Privacy

Pathway360 is designed for students beginning in middle school and may be used by students age 10 and older.

For users under the age required to independently consent to the collection and use of personal information under applicable law, Pathway360 requires involvement and consent from a parent or legal guardian where required.

We take additional steps to protect information associated with younger users and only collect information reasonably necessary to provide Pathway360's educational planning, college preparation, scholarship, career, and related student services.

Parents or legal guardians who have questions about a student's information, or who wish to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with their child, should use the Contact/Support form available within Pathway360.

Pathway360 does not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable children's privacy laws.

9. Third-Party Links

Pathway360 may contain links to external websites (college websites, FAFSA.gov, etc.). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before sharing information.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes take effect 30 days after posting. Your continued use of Pathway360 constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
